Willow Run is a small (6 stall) natural boarding facility. Our stalls are 12'x12' with attached paddocks, no doors, and 4' walls so even when horses come in, they are able to access each other and the outdoors. There is a Paddock Paradise for group turnout, and horses are often out 24/7. Our feed program is based on grass & grass hay at 2% of body weight, in slow feed hay nets. Nets are hung around the Paddock Paradise, with extra nets so all horses have access. We add a ration balancer, a probiotic, and loose salt. We have alfalfa pellets if your horse doesn't eat enough hay and grass to maintain body condition. Concentrate is fed in stalls so your horse gets the correct amount for their individual need. Owner is a certified veterinary nurse with over 40 years horse experience, and 15 years boarding horses. We strive for a comfortable, co-operative environment, with access to protected trails a short distance down the road. Willow Run is the perfect home for trail riders, retired horses, and traumatized horses requiring a natural, low-stress environment. Hoof trimming by owner available.
