The Hoof Wrap Bandage was specifically designed for comfort and convenience. They are ideal for common hoof problems including abscesses, thrush or stone bruises. They can also be used for temporary protection in the event of loosing a shoe. Made with four layers of 1600 denier ballistic nylon, reinforced with industrial stitching and includes an extreme grip fastening system to make it very durable, even for turnout. |
They are user-friendly and very easy to apply as they have a step by step numbering system printed directly on the bandage (see below). They come with a 1/2" thick EVA foam pad for additional comfort.
The manufacturer also produces gel pads which are very unique as they are infused with Jojoba and Tea Tree oils making them naturally antibacterial. This helps sooth sore feet whilst keeping bacterial infections at bay. The gel pad is 3/8" thick and is extremely cushy. They come in one size (5 3/4" diameter) and can be cut to fit most hoof sizes.
